I think I posted this ques once before but I cannot find the answer, and do
not remember which database I was using. Anyway, I use a system to generate
reports that I load in Access using a .TXT format. If a numeric field has no
value, the file loads a null into Access, however, I am trying to run
addition calculations across several columns and when Access finds one with a
null it does NOT show an answer. Isn't there a setting for either the
database or maybe the column itself that I can use to set the nulls to 0
(zeros) so the math will work correctly. (I know I can set up queries to
change the nulls to 0's but I have way too many columns where this happens)
Thanks!!!!!
