Going from Custom Menus to Design mode

I have a database that I had setup with a custom menu and a dashboard. I
need to edit the Design but forgot how to exit to Design Mode.

I need to hold a key down but forgot what that was. I assume this is the
same for all custom menu databases.

Can anyone help with the instructions to do this?

Hold down the Shift key while opening the database.
