Goal Seek - show formula?

Is there a way to show the formula that Goal Seek function uses to arrive at its answer
I have a simultaneous equation with variables and the only method that gives me
the answer I need is "goal seek". I have several rows that need the same cal
and I don't want to manually use goal seek over and over again. I would like t
just know the formula and then copy it down the page

Any ideas?

Hi Kelly,
Goal Seek does not use a formula, it uses an iterative algorithm.
Find a math book and read how Newton;s Method of Successive Approximations
works to get an idea.

You can solve simultaneous equations with the Excel matrix function MINVERSE
and MMUTI
Send me (private email not to newsgroup) a real email address and I will
send info
