I copied the exact POP3 settings as Outlook Express to my new Vista Windows
Mail for my gmail accounts. I can receive mail just fine, but cannot sent
mail out. I put pop.gmail.com for incoming and smtp.gmail.com for outgoing.
Can't figure out what else to do! It does not give me an error message.
Thanks!

I bought a new HP with Vista. Have not been able to send mail. Had my
server check my material. Still unabe to send email. Is MS going to correct
this or am going to go crazzy trying to figure it out. Will some one please
help.

Before you blame Microsoft, do a little more due diligence.
Have you read all the posts, and attempted the suggested fixes?

We will need more details, such as the complete error message.

Seems as though they are doing their 'due diligence' Gary. They came here for
help. Damn.

But they have not provided the information we need to help.
Who is their server?
What are the "exact" error messages?
Remember, we cannot see your screen or your settings.

And help I am willing and ready to provide. Note my "We will need
more details, such as the complete error message" below.
I can't help if the user doesn't provide any details of the problem.
