Our State agency has changed the e-mail address for hundreds of contacts in
my list. The address used to be:
(e-mail address removed)
It has been changed to:
(e-mail address removed)

Is there a way to globally update the address? I really don't want to cut
and paste over 400 addresses!

Thanks,
Jon Mulder

This is one of the cases where Export & Import may come handy. Try
exporting your contacts to a CSV or Excel file, do your global change,
then import it back into Outlook.

I have never tried this, so I cannot guarantee that it works.
Backup your PST file before starting the export/import process.

Excellent suggestion! Thank you!

Well, I tried the export to Excel, and did the "Search and Replace" in Excel.
Unfortunately, I had "user-defined" fields in my Contacts and those didn't
export (OutLook does not support exporting "user-defined" fields from what I
subsequently found out). Glad I made a backup of my pst file!

Yes, I checked out the referenced web site. I downloaded the trial copy and
will see if that will work (as time permits).

Thanks!
