GlobalAddAtomW in CreateProcessW crashes in VC7 works fine in VC6

Hello,
Switched from VC6 to VC7 and CreateProcess started giving access
violation inside
KERNEL32.DLL!GlobalAddAtomW() + 0x1d
KERNEL32.DLL!CreateProcessW() + 0x2a
.....

Anybody had similar problems? Anybody can suggest what it could be?
Linking seems to be OK. I know it is very little info but that is all
I have.
