Give to the people the possiblity to chose to track versioninig in source
safe instead then word; so people don't have to be worryed abobut fullish
things and can just work easyer! In this way office could become something
different from competitors products

AIUI, there is no reason you can't track Word documents in Visual SourceSafe
if you have it installed.
