I'm installing the bits for new system ..the motherboard GIGABYTE
GA-965P-DS3
has 6 SATA sockets ..but 4 of them are marked SATA via Intel ch5 chips,
2 are marked "GIGABYTE SATA" ????
What does this mean ?
Thanks Mouse

Answer me own question in this review..
Interesting to see the USB2 connected Hard drive
almost exactly half the speed of the internal SATA / IDE ones

What Gigabyte calls GIGABYTE SATA is the JMicron SATA controller on
other motherboaeds.
