GIF Animations

IE 6 fails to execute gif animation at my website when
set up viewed with Windows XP Home Edition. Only first
frame of GIF animation displays. I looked at other
trouble shooting measues associated with this problem
with Microsoft Support data base, but nothing addresses
this problem with my setup. This problem does'nt occur
with using Netscape browser. Has Microsoft got a fix?

Why don't my animated gifs animate?

Take note of the mention of firewalls like @Guard as others like Zone
Alarm Pro and NIS may also have a disable option.

OK, I saw all that.
Allow me to clarify.

gifs can work in my IE. However, only work for gif images
already on my disk and not those viewed at my website.
Try viewing animations at my website with IE6 and Windows
XP Home Edition. I see no fixes for this combination.
