ghosting

Hi.
I'm geting a ghosting effect on my pc, any ideas on why
or what is causing it.
nvida ti4800SE 128mb ctx pr705f monitor xp pro.

That's called "ringing" and is usually caused by a bad cable or
defective connection from the video card to the monitor. It may also
be caused by a defective video card.
