Ghost Drives E, F, G, & H

I've got a new Athalon 64 PC. It has the usual C dirve (hard disc) and D
drive (DVD/CD combo). But Windows Explorer also shows 4 more "ghost"
drives; E, F, G and H. They show up under "Removeable Storage" in "My
Computer." I can't find any way to get rid of them. Anyone know how?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

If they are under "removable storage" does the system have memory card
readers if so you may need to access them at some point.

If you have a photo printer with many card slots, that would account for the
drive letters. Each slot or device insertion point is assigned a letter.

start>run>diskmgmt.msc

Right click on the partionsions and chose preferences, there you can
diactivate the pariotions or remove them.
