Getting WordArt to work

I just installed FrontPage 2002 and have been learning
from a tutorial.

The tutorial instructs me to create WordArt on a sentence
by clicking Insert then clicking Picture and then click
WordArt. The WordArt entry is washed out so it cannot be
picked.

I read in the installation book that the Vector Markup
Language (VML) is used to execute WordArt. I can't find
it on the installtion disk.

I only purchased Frontpage 2002 but I have MicroSoft
Office 2000 installed, if that makes a difference.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Please reply via email to (e-mail address removed)

Thanks

Gary

Try this... work with WordArt in Word ... make a screen capture of the art
you need and save it as a gif.... then import it into your images folder.

You can view the following KB article about the Word Art.

I once used Word Art and did not have problems. Then one
day in the Normal View it looked fine, but then in
Preview it was not there. I now use a graphics
application to generate the gif and use gifs. I learned
from Thomas that it is best to avoid Word Art.
