Getting the internet to work on wireless hub

I just hooked up a cable modem and a wireless router... I
got my Win2000 laptop to connect to the router no problem
and I was able to get onto the internet... BUT when I
tried to hook up my 2 roommates WinXP Pro laptops via a
wireless card, I had no luck.. I could connect to the
router, but cannot get on the web ... is there a trick
setting in XP that I need to change?
