Hello:

I want to do a fresh install of XP Pro in the next week and I want to make
sure that un needed services aren't hogging up my memory.

Can anyone point me out to a site or give me some tips on what I can disable
?

I will be using the PC mainly for internet browsing using a cable modem
through a linksys router, connected to 3 other computers to share files.
Also play 3D games every once in a while. I Like doing a lot of multimedia
as well, such as photo shop, or watch DVD's. Thanks guys...

U can also see

http://www.theeldergeek.com/services_guide.htm
info about same but some explanations clearer.

Not sure what benefits are but can say takes my PC
35sec from XP logo to finish boot.
