Getting Rid of the User Name Screen

Is there any way to get rid of the user name screen? As I am the only user
I would like have the computer go directly to the desktop on startup.

Go to start/Run and type control userpasswords2 and click OK.

Remove the check mark from the appropriate option at the top of that dialog
box.
