Hi every one in Cyborland, I would like to know if old program names that I
once had on my PC that are still listed in Custom Notification Area are going
to be a problem since I had new motherboard and 1 gig memory put in. None of
the old programs show up in Control Panel or Regedit.exe. When I see names in
here that have long been uninstalled I tend to get very nervious. Is ther a
way to completely get rid of all 11 items?? Thanks for the help, and if I can
help anyone anytime I will. JJ I am a newbe at the PC for only a year but I'm
learning.

It's amazing what you can find with Google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=remove+past+items+from+notification+area

I'd go with the fix from Kelly's site.

Remove Past Items From the Notification Area (Line 53)
