Getting pixel size of image embedded in PPT

The Format Picture dialog doesn't seem to contain the pixel dimensions of an
inserted image, but the linear dimensions. Is the image pixel dimensions of
the original image embedded in the ppt exposed in some other dialog?

Hello

Am hesitant to venture an opinion here - you guys are all so clever with
this ... but ...

In 2003: insert>picture>from file; highlight the picture then
tools>properties>summary

Fiona

Thanks Fiona,
That shows the properties before the file is imported.
What about after it is in the ppt document? (say on another computer without
the original source file)

Can't find pixel info anywhere else ... though I vaguely remember it being
in 97 (or at least an option to show that information)

I hope you guys don't mind me chipping in ... you've all been so helpful to
me (although you wouldn't have noticed - lol!).

Am currently sitting at home with a twisted ankle - don't usually have the
time ... much respect to you guys for all you do :)

Regards
Fiona

No, but if you have a PPT version prior to 2003, you can copy from PPT and
paste to MS Photo Edit and get the image in its full original size.

In 2003, you can copy and paste into some image editing or illustration apps
and get the original image. It may take a bit of dinking with Paste Special to
find something that works well.

Not at all. That's what makes this place work ... we all help one another (and
correct one another's mistakes, and amplify, riff on, veer off on wild tangents
from and ramble all around what the others have said.)

About the pixel info ... yep, you can see it in the Properties and maybe some
other views while you're inserting an image into the presentation but once it's
in there, PPTs not going to give you any help.

Take good care of the ankle, btw.
