getting message can't contact LDAP Directory server

I have just changed from Outlook Express to Microsoft Outlook but every time
I go to send an email or reply to a message I get a message which says "Can't
contact LDAP Directory Server (81)" What does this mean? I have already
imported my address book from OE so what could be the problem?

Hi Margaret,

Try this KB article:

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=836205

Please note for the future that this newsgroup is for questions and answers
related to Microsoft Access, the database software. There are several Outlook
newsgroups that would be more suitable. Since you posted via the MS web
portal, you should see Outlook listed as an item in the list on the left side
of your screen.

Good Luck,

Tom

Hi Tom, thanks for the quick response, it seems
to have fixed that problem, now I've got to sort
out why the messages take so long to load, but
that's another question isn't it?? Think it may have
something to do with the firewall

Hi Margaret,

You're welcome.

I wouldn't think that a firewall would cause such a problem, but that is
another question that is better suited for posting in one of the Outlook
newsgroups.
