Getting Menus to Show Only Recently Used Options

I sort of like the feature where the menus only display the recently used
options (with the little down arrow at the bottom to get to all the
options). However, when my Win2000 machine at work was recently replaced
with a new XP box, this feature in IE 6 seems to be either missing or
disabled (it works fine in XP itself and other apps).

I have looked through all the IE preference menus I could find and could not
locate anything related to "show only recently used" menu options. Does
such a thing exist? Any ideas how to turn it on in IE 6?

It is available with Favorites.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
The option is "Enable Personalized Favorites Menu"
