Getting error 0x800CCC60 ( using office xp)

I tried to send a file, 16MB ( we are in network) where this should have gone
no problem but instead I am getting the listed above error and the item can
not be deleted, it is currently in the outbox. I would like to delete it
from the systems email box. I have checked our server, its not on there.
Anyone got any ideas? Please let me know

Hi,
Try to delete the message OFF LINE. ( disconnect from the net)
If it does not delete from the Outbox,
move it to a different folder and delete it there.
