getting e-mails from Outlook Beta to outlook 2003 or 2007

I have been using the beta version of outlook 2007. It has expired and I need
to uninstall it and either install my Outlook 2003 or buy and install 2007.
How do I get my e-mails from the Beta version, since I have to uninstall it
first?

Uninstall the beta - reinstall 2003. Your data will not be touched.

LOL... very risky.. should work ok but just incase..

Click File, export, save file as .pst. this will be your backup.

Uninstall, reinstall and if anything wrong we can File Import .pst.

Don't export! That will lose all your rules and other hidden items. If you're worried, make a copy of the .pst file, but never export it when you want to reuse the data, especially on the same machine.

Bad advice. NEVER use Export to create a PST. You lose data and it's
unnecessary. To make a backup of Outlook's data, just copy the PST with
Windows Explorer while Outlook is closed. SO simple.

Im sorry everyone has this negative attitude towards export.

Been in the industry 15 years and never had an issue with export / .pst
apart from 2gb limits.

Granted I do mainly business setups, therefore email account is sitting on
exchange and we have other facilities for backup and export.

However I just read Carter post again and if he decides to go back to 2003
would 2007 pst work in outlook 2003 ?

Well you're lucky then!

Many posts in this group describe exactly what you lose by exporting and
importing. Distribution Lists and the connections between Contacts and
Calendar are just two exampled of the data that gets lost.
However I just read Carter post again and if he decides to go back to
2003 would 2007 pst work in outlook 2003 ?

Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 use the same format PST, so there should be no
issue using that PST in either version.

i have the same problem but cannot delete the beta software 'the product
installation has been corrupted. Run set up again from CD,DVD or other
orignal source (which of course I cannot do). How do i get rid of it?

Once I have done so i have the MS office standard - does this include
Outlook? Will any other files be affected by installing this?

many thanks

When I uninstall the Beta and reinstall 2003 will I lose any Office/excel
documents that were saved in 2007 version?

Would I still be able to retrieve pst files and office files if I were to
reinstall Office XP?

You should lose no data.
