getting contacts etc from old computer to new

I am having a really hard time getting all of my outlook
2000 data from my old computer to my new laptop with
outlook 2002. I've tried everything. All of the .pst
files I import/copy end up with no contact info and no
calendar items. What am I doing wrong?
