Getting back the original search engine

When I click "search" on the address bar a new "Search
the Web" site comes up and not the one with the original
search. The original one had the dog in the lower
portion which helped with my searches. How do I get back
the original search area?

Look for the restore search engine fix and run it.

Get rid of all the parasites.

Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
