Getting an XP Home Disc / Laptop pre-installation

The laptop I purchased comes pre-installed with Windows
XP Home and I was wondering if there is a way to order an
XP Home CD so that I can use the CD if there is a problem
that needs re-installation or use of the recovery
console. Does anyone know how this might be done?

Only the company who made your laptop can answer that. Short of
just buying a regular copy like anyone else, there's nobody else
who can help you.

Your only possible source for the proper OEM installation CD is
the computer's manufacturer. Contact them.
