Getting an additional license for my Windows XP software

I was able to pull up a page from Microsoft that explained
how to get an additional license so I can get permission
to use my XP software on a second computer I own. Problem
is I can't enter the requested info on the form Microsoft
provided...not able to fill in the lovely boxes the give
me for the Product ID or the Product Key, not able to fill
in the Registered To info. Nothing. I seem to have hit a
brick wall. And trying to find a toll-free number without
providing a credit card number? Well, that's impossible,
too. Like they say in that movie, "Who ya gonna call?"

I think I'm entitled to that second use, but I guess I
need permission...which I'm told is always more difficult
to get than forgiveness. But let's not go there folks.

Can anyone provide a simple answer? Maybe a phone number,
toll-free or otherwise. Please? Thanks...

Hey I think Microsoft should quit milking the public and allow a second copy
on another machine that you own as long as you don't use both at the same
time. That's how many companies work. My advice is go ahead and don't tell
anyone. If Microsoft wants to try taking 1 poor working stiff to court to
get an additional $200, let them. I think that you would probably win
anyhow. It is hard finding a jury that will sympathize with Microsoft these
days.

Yuo have to PURCHASE a second license, it is not free.

And it will probably be cheaper to buy another copy of XP at a discount
store than to buy another license from MS. (MS will give you 15% off full
retail cost of XP for the second license)
