Quick easy question - is there a way to buy Microsoft Access by itself? I
just purchased a Office Home and Student 2007 and it does not have Access.
Thanks for any help.

Yes!

you should be able to buy any of the MS Office program as stand alones
(Word, Excel, Access,...). I know the big stores around my neck of the woods
carry them and you most certainly get them online as well.

You can get a full version, but it will pay to check Microsoft licensing to
see if an upgrade version (about 1/3 the price) will work with your license.

Thanks, Ann, I also was interested and tried that link but that Microsoft
link you provided only takes me to a bewildering Microsoft web page that
offers me no clue where to look for details on a Office Student and Teacher
Edition 2003 upgrade (adding Access)...even after browsing it for 15 minutes,
following page after page to dead ends. This however is typical of many
Microsoft web pages...I often wonder what they are smoking up in Redmond!
