Ive got an up to date WinXP home install, genuine Intel
PentiumIII-450 440BX motherboard
Im setting up to run games, and its dismal. the hot
wheels game chokes with 5-10 seconds between frames,
several minutes to break out with ctrl/alt/del
I had hit the 3 many times
when it finally got the task manager, about one minute or
more later? there were 2 task managers running. I closed
one and did ctrl alt del again and got the second one
back. when I closed both, then I couldnt get 2 to re
appear again, only one
but in Win2000 doing a ctrl/alt/del gets a task manager
almost immediately, a few seconds under heavy load
