Get IE to open expanded windows

Everytime I open a new browser session in IE it opens to a minimized screen,
all different sizes! How can I get it to open mazimized everytime I open a
new IE screen? It's a pain!

Go to Start > Programs and right-click on Internet Explorer
and choose "Maximized" from the "Run" drop-down list,
then click Apply.

open up ie > maximize it > press F5 > close ie > reopen ie

i cant even follow this.... when you go to start > programs > ie and right
click; there is no maximized.... am i missing something here carey?

I did this but it doesn't stay as a permanent selection. The next time it
opens minimized again. I would like to have it permanent even after I close
IE completely.

Their is no Maximized from the Run drop down list. I only get Run As . . ??

Right click on the Explorer icon, select Properties, select the Shortcut
tab, then under the option Run, select Maximized.

thanks fitz that clears up what carey was trying to explain, but does that
work just for the shortcut or is the for ie its self?
