Get a program Key Code from the registry

Hi
I have StarryNight Pro loaded on a Sony computer with XP Home this program
is registered legal program, my problem is I now have a different computer
and I loaded the program into it only to find that I lost the key code. It
is registered with the program producer but I have since changed to several
different IP's so I can't get into he registration on line to see if the key
code is there or not.
Is there a way to find the key by using regit? I don't use regit but I
believe it would be safe if I would just look, my problem is I don't know
just where to look. Can anyone steer me as to where it would be? This key
code would be on my old computer where it is still installed. The key Code
was E mailed to me when I purchased it on line so the key is not with the
disk. Can't find the emailed Key Code. Up a Tree. I hate the thought of
paying that much out again just to get a lost Code.
Appreciate any help, thanks!

Great program. If you purchased and registered your copy with the
folks at Starry Night (www.starrynight.com) they should be able to
give you the registration key that you were originally issued. What
difference does it make if you have the same ISP or not? Just make
contact with their customer support.

I suppose you could do a search in the registry to see if the key is
there, but many providers nowadays encrypt key information in the
registry. It may not be readable. Your best bet is to contact Starry
Night customer support.

The code might not be in the Windows Registry. If it cannot be
found, consider downloading Belarc Advisor from www.belarc.com,
installing it. Belarc Advisor might be able to discern the key
for the application in question.

I don't understand what changing your IP has to do with not being able to
contact tech support or customer service for the program.
