Apple Says Welcome to February 50, 2007Posted by Shane Pitman on 20 February

Mac users have been welcomed to their own exclusive place in time, February
50th. Reports have been popping up around the net that Mac users are seeing
the date on their systems listed as February 50, 2007. Some are speculating
that it could a bug caused by the recent Daylight Savings Time update
released by Apple last week, but no confirmation has been made. We will keep
you updated as more information becomes available.

That's funny. My Vista Ultimate PC says it's February 40th!

Why is the news on the VISTA newsgroup?

I had a Mac once! It was a "fat Mac" with 512k upgrade (from 128, with 64in
Rom). Nice at the time. Imagwriter printer.
I'd say get XP now. Mac is not for me anymore. The closed architecture
killed it I think.

Because it's a general group and for a while and maybe still so, we had some
MAC trolls running around answering every question\problem with "BUY a Mac
!"

If I had money to burn, I'd still get one. This bug is hardly enough
reason to not get one.

The only thing stopping me is the price. OX is a fantastic OS. And
frankly my fave part is *not* the GUI. It's what's "under the hood"
that I like, namely, Darwin.

In a perfect world I'd have a Mac Pro running OS X, Windows Vista,
Linux and FreeBSD.

I should play the lottery more often.

BTW, here's the link to the missing screenshot.:

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
NOTICE: In-Newsgroup (and therefore off-topic) comments on my sig will
be cheerfully ignored, so don't waste our time.

He's baiting them.

Well, if a master can be expected to produce - you know, issue or results -
as baiters go, no, this effort seems not to have been a master's job. Hordes
of mactrolls showing they've been flushed out from their lurky lurking? Not!

At least, not yet. Maybe they're kind of slow, and need more time.

Ah, that's an old fisherman's joke... "I got a job on a fishing boat. I
started out as a minor baiter and worked my way up to a master baiter."
