generic Links Icons only ???

Hi - Any help here would be appreciated. I just installed
IE6 service pack1 and now have only the generic Explorer
icon (rather than colorful "product-specific" generated
icons) appearing in both the address window for all web
pages, and on the "Links" toolbar buttons.
Does anyone out there have an idea how to get the
product specific icons to be activated?

Hi - The problem is solved by deleting all the link
buttons, entering each desired link address manually into
the address window to go to the page, and then dragging
the IE icon back to the links bar - it then turns into the
proper icon.
