Generating Sound?

Hello All,
I am a beginning Visual C# programmer, using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
I was wondering how I could go about generating sounds on my sound card through a program.
What I want to do is generate a simple sine wave with a certain frequency.
Is there a way to accomplish this?
