Generating a distintive id in query

Thanks in advance.

Table named "tblEmp" is impossible to find any primary key.
In query "qryEmp", I need to add a calculated field "ID" and generate
distintive id in there upon runnig "qryEmp".
Any idea/help is greatl appreciated.

Hi Jay

You could add an autonumber field to tblEMP or add a calculated concencated
field to qryEMP query (but the autonumber is easier and less likey to mess up)
