generate random numbers..

Hi..!!

is it possible for excel to generate random numbers, let's say lik
product numbers..??

if it's possible.. then how...

thx..
 
There's the RAND() function and, in the Analysis Tool Pack, the RANDBETWEEN
function. They may return duplicates, however.
 
=rand() generates random numbers from 0 to 1

=randbetween() - from the analysis toolpak addin - will generate rando
integers between a higher and lower value
