All data controls and wizards
about dataset, adapter or dataviewer disappear in the IDE.
How can i let them appear again?

It is because i want to generate dataset by these wizard.

Thanks in advance.
ps. After i try to use previous generated adapter, i still can't
generate new dataset for it.

The tools shown in the toolbar vary depending on what type of object you are
editing. Generally I think the data tools appear when you are in the form
editor. You haven't given enough info to determine what the problem is with
generating datasets. Do you get an error message?

Thanks for your answer.

I have one aim. Why do all data design controls disappear and
how can i make them appear in my toolbox again.

I try this for a period of time, but i still fail to make these
controls re-appear in my IDE.

Thanks in advance.

Sambula,

Did you understand the answer from JBK, because you repeat your question
while he did give you a good answer, so you would in my opinion explain more
at what moment they disapear to get ever an answer on your question and not
just repeat it.

Sorry! I should describe it much more clearly.
In fact, I don't get any error message.
That is because i just want to find the data wizard in order to generate a
dataset
in the early stage of coding.
Those data controls are not disappeared at special monent or situation.
They are not shown on the toolbox all the time.
In spite of previous codes re-opened, i still cannot find any data control on
the toolbox. I also ever try to look for them in the form editor. But that
disappoints
me too.
The version i used is visual studio.net 2003.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Sambula,

They are: when your form is showed go to the toolbox and choose Data.
Then there is by instance the SQLDataAdapter. That is a wizard and not the
adapter, I agree with you that it is confusing. Some others start wizards as
well while others only put an icon on your designform.

However the toolbox is only visable when you are in some kind of design
view.

I hope this helps?
