General Network error

I am currently getting a General Network Error were I was not getting one
before. The batty thing is the error happens about every other connection to
the database. I have looked at the SQLException that gets generated and the
error number is 20.
 
Thanks, that is the very resource which I needed. The application which I am
building opens the connection, processes a file, and then closes the
connection. The resource which you provided showed that the connection (even
though closed) is not closed for another four minutes. Thanks for you help.
This is a Windows application and does not use SSL.
