General Errors

I am running W2K and have the following errors:

When I right click on the esktop and go to properties, trhe following error
appears:

cannot find the file rundll32 or one of its components. make sure that the
path or filename are correct. if I search for the file it is in
WINNNT/SYSTEM32

Also if I type the CMD command from the run box I get the error message:
this internet shortcut cannot be opened because failed to run

Can anyone please help??

You've lost your associatein of exe files bat too it looks like. I bet also for pif.

This is known virus activity. There may be a fix for it but I'd re-install. Check that C:\WINNT\system32 is
in your path. Right-click My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Environment settings | System | path. If
C:\WINNT\system32 is in your path then virus.
