geforce4 mx420 problems help

hello everytime i install the drivers for the geforce 4 card it notifies me
to restart my computer that is when the trouble starts whenever the comp
restarts the display is just a blank screen. i have tried lots of different
options. if someone knows what is going on or can help me i would appreciate
it. i am running a dell 8200 with pentium 4 on xp home operating system. help
 
I suggest you to disinstall nvidia drivers from control panel,
than use detonato destroyed to remove all drivers
and absolutely then install a detonator versione 40.82 whql or 44.72,
but not 56 or worse 6x.yz drivers, couse they could cause the problem,
and does not affect performance gain in your system.
