GDI.EXE

I'm getting an error message dealing with GDI.EXE
espically when using Internet explorer. The Error message
goes something like "iexplorer has caused an error in
GDI.EXE and will exit the application." It also sometimes
happens with Windows Media Player. Does anyone know a
solution to this problem? I've tried the fix Internet
Explorer option but that doesn't seem to work.

Probable cause some damaged files in your graphic environment.

Did you install any new software/hardware?
