Gateway question

I have a Nortel 1100 contivity Box < acts like a router> on my network that
is in parallel with my firewall. I have given the Nortel box a internal IP on
a vlan. The IP is: 10.10.40.5/24. This vlan also has a IP address/router IP
of 10.10.40.1/24. All PC's on the 10.10.40.0 lan use 10.10.40.1 as the GW.
However, I need to have these PC's use the 10.10.40.5 and 10.10.40.1 for
their GW's.
Can I do this, how would it be done?
