Games Minimizing While Playing Help?

While playing different CD games after a while they will
just minimize themselves to the task bar for no apparent
reason. I'm running XP(pro) Athlon XP1600, 512mb, ATI
Radeon 7200. All drivers appear to be up to date, I've
tried different resoulutions anti-virus disabled still no
luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove Microosoft mouse and keyboard software.

Removed Microsoft Keyboard software. Don't have mouse
software as have Logitech Mouse. Still same problem.
After a couple of minutes playing a game it just
minimizes to the task bar. Any more pointers or things to
try.

Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete, go to the processes tab. Post what's there. I'll tell you things to kill and see which ones it is. From experience it's point32 (ms mouse) and type32 (keyboard), and maybe taskswitch. I kill all non essential processes before playing DirectX games else they minimise.
