Thinking about upgrading the processor.
What max Athlon XP processor will this mobo take?

IIRC Athlon XP 2400+ is the most that the KT266A chipset can handle.

Well, the Gigabyte site contains a BIOS upgrade to take the XP2600 -
although IIRC there are two versions of this, one with a 333 FSB which
the KT266A chipset will not support so make sure you get the version
with the 266 FSB (and upgrade the BIOS first).
