most interesting thing I've noticed is that even though G70 ~ GeForce 7800
GTX has 24 pixel pipelines
or pixel shader pipes, it only has 16 ROPS and therefore can only output 16
pixels per clock.

I will post more reviews as they start to come in, since the NDA expires
Tuesday night in the U.S.

so no AGP version. Ok, I need a new motherboard with PCI express
too...wait, Xeon boards are now 800fsb so I'll need new
cpu's....memory...psu....box...a whole machine really. So to upgrade my
graphics it's a snip at £4,000.....bargain.

You have a Xeon? Anyway, if you get a new board, the FSB can still be set to
a lower speed to match your old CPU and RAM.

Unfortunately, the only relevance to me of the 7800 is whether or not it'll
drop the price on the 6800 Ultras :^(
