Future of MS Access

Someone sent me a message saying they heard Access was not going to be around
much longer. Although I doubt this very much, I have to look into it due to
the investment we have in this product. Does anyone know anything about this
or is this internet garbage?

It's internet garbage.

The current development team for Access 12 is one of the largest teams
there's been for it in years.

15 Years ago I heard the same thing about Cobol, and it still around and
kicking.
Well, who can predict the future?
I know of one, but I'm not sure he will bother him self with Access.

I've been using Access for the last 9 years, since Access 2.0, and I heard
the same thing then.
