I don't know why the garvernments said IE should not come with Windows.
I still can install other browsers after IE installed.
If there is no IE, how can one go on internet after Windows installed.

I use Mozilla. And I install it straight after Windows, so I fail to see the
problem.

Actually, the issue was the fact that Windows came with IE, not the other
way around. One has always been free to use any browser one wished to use.
At the time, Netscape was pissed that Microsoft would not let them include
their browser in the various releases of Windows. For a time there,
Netscape was the unchallenged leader in the browser world. Then the fact
that Microsoft had billions and billions of dollars they could throw at a
herd of lawyers caused all that to change.

Microsoft was eventually ordered to play nice with everyone and not stomp
them into submission at the drop of a hat. If Microsoft wanted to, they
could buy every browser on the planet not to mention snap up companies like
Qwest and Verizon and still have more cash on hand than any other company in
the world. Just imagine if your phone and cellular service were provided by
Microsoft! It sends a chill down my spine just thinking about it.
