Functions in a work order

I currently have a work rder with drop down lists for our items. I would
like it to show the correct corresponding price when a certain item is
selected. I have read thru different posts, but can't get anything to work
for me. I admit, I may be a little slow at this though! Thanks for any help.

Do you have a master list of items and their corresponding prices? If so,
you could do a VLOOKUP using that item in your dropdown...
