Function Cancel

Hi everybody,

To improve the time to calculate a sheet, we would like to
take out the function cancel found under the Edition menu.
Is there a way to do that? Will it improve the calculation
time?

When you do a procedure in Excel, you can cancel it by
chosing Edition -> Cancel. I have the french version of
Excel so may be in the english version, it may be called
differently.

Please be clear what that function is and where do i find that, because
in my office, i am using excel 2000, when i am moving from cell to
cell, i am getting very slow and the bottom of the sheet ,showing
calculating and all, so can anybody help in this matter.
