Is there any possibility to run cmd in fullscreen mode instead of box window
in Vista?
I just used to run old things in full screen (too small font 4 me) with
command mode con: lines=25.

No full screen - but if you change the font size from the properties dialog
box to the Lucida Fonts you can go huge and the window even at 25 lines will
fill your screen.

Go to Start and type cmd. Right click cmd.exe in Programs and select Run
As Administrator.

At the top left of the command prompt screen, click the small black and
white icon. Select Properties / Layout Tab.

In the Windows Size box adjust the size you wish to use. When you adjust
these settings, you will see the result in the small black window at the
left of the dialog box. Adjust the values until it fills the screen. In the
Window Position, remove the check mark from the "Let system position window"
and adjust the values there to postion the screen at the center of the
window. Click OK.

Close and restart cmd.exe. If it is still not filling the entire screen go
back and readjust the settings until you get it the way you wish.

OK. This worked well. However, what about running old DOS programs with a
full screen? When I run them in the administartor's window, they shrink
before running, even though I configured the Layout accordingly...JWD
