Full System scan won't finish

I downloaded Microsoft Antispyware. Whenever i preform a
full system scan it will scan rapidly until it deep scans
system information_restore. From here it moves at about
a file a minute and has never finshed scanning even after
letting it run for several days. The bulk of spyware
seems to be in here so not deep scanning files does not
remove all of the spyware. Do I need to redownload the
program.

P.S. all of my definitions are current.
 
Spyware found in the SR store is not active, in any case that I've verified.
If you want, you can remove all the old restore points by stopping and
restarting System Restore--but this eliminates an important safety
feature--I'd want to be very sure that your machine is running well and that
you aren't going to need those old restore points. I'd also recommend
creating a new one immediately after enabling System restore again.
