Is it possible to automatically add the full document path to the text of a
document without having to remember it and manually type it in?

When you know the field syntax (which in this case is extremely
straightforward), much the faster way is to insert the field manually:
Ctrl+F9 to insert the field braces, then type FILENAME \p between them.
